When you go online and pay your water bill- please click the pay utlity button....not the pay misc.
you will need to have your account number to pay and use the two zeros in front of your account number. If you pay on the misc., it does not go to your account and give you credit MISC is for all other non utility payments....example: golf, bulk water, dock fee, cleaning fee, etc.
If you pay your utility bill after 7:00 pm on the 15th then you will automatically be assessed a late fee. The city’s utility bills are typically mailed out between the 27th and the 30th each month and are due by the close of business (4:45 pm) on the 15th of the following month. As for those people who drop off their payments at city hall, Remember, We empty the drop box at 7:30 a.m. when we come to work on the 16th. Everything after that is assessed a penalty.

THE CITY OF NOCONA IS IN STAGE 2 OF
THE DROUGHT CONTINGENCY PLAN
WATER USE RESTRICTIONS
ALL REQUIREMENTS OF STAGE 1, SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT DURING STAGE 2. UNDER THREAT OF PENALTY FOR VIOLATION, THE FOLLOWING WATER USE RESTRICTIONS SHALL ALSO APPLY TO ALL PERSONS:
Stage 2 - Mild water shortage conditions.
Water use restrictions. All requirements of Stage 1 shall remain in effect during Stage 2. Under threat of penalty for violation, the following water use restrictions shall also apply to all persons:
(A) Water customers are required to limit the irrigation of landscape areas. Customers with an even-numbered address (0, 2, 4, 6, 8,) shall irrigate only on even-numbered days, and customers with an odd-numbered address (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) shall irrigate only on odd-numbered days.
(B) The use for washing sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, streets, tennis courts, patios, or other paved areas, except to alleviate immediate health or fire hazards, is strongly discouraged.
(C) The irrigation of golf course greens is limited to once per day between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 8:00 a.m. Fairways can only be irrigated on Friday of each week.

Customers with an even-numbered address (0, 2, 4, 6, 8) are requested to irrigate only on even-numbered days, and water customers with odd-numbered address (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) are requested to irrigate only on odd-numbered days.
(B) Water customers are requested to limit use for washing sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, streets, tennis courts, patios, or other paved areas, except to alleviate immediate health or fire hazards.
(C) Golf course operators are requested to voluntarily limit the use of greens for irrigation of golf fairways to once per week and the irrigation of golf course greens to once daily.
ENFORCEMENT PROVISION
IF YOU ARE FOUND TO BE IN VIOLATION OF THIS PLAN, YOU CAN BE FINED UP TO $2,000 EACH DAY FOR EACH OFFENSE. REPEATING OFFENDERS CAN HAVE WATER SERVICE DISCONTINUED. A CITY WORKER OR OFFICER CAN TURN OFF YOUR WATER HOSE OR SPRINKLER SYSTEM IF YOU ARE IN VIOLATION AND YOU CAN NOT BE FOUND TO TURN SYSTEM OFF.
